The three commitments. Written into the master service agreement.

Excerpted from the standard RK Master Service Agreement language. Full document available under NDA.

Section 4.1 · Visibility latency

"Provider commits that any inbound shipment status change — at origin, in transit, at port, on dray, or at Provider's dock — will be reflected on the Customer Dashboard within sixty (60) seconds at the 95th percentile."

Section 4.2 · Exception resolution

"For dedicated programs, Provider commits that any inbound exception flagged by the Exception Engine will be assigned to a named Provider operator within eight (8) business hours, with a documented mitigation plan."

Section 4.3 · Post-mortem

"Provider commits to deliver a written post-mortem report — including documented root cause and counter-measure — to Customer's named program sponsor within the same calendar week as any high-severity incident."

Section 4.4 · Gainshare credit

"In the event Provider misses any of the commitments in Sections 4.1–4.3 in any reporting month, Customer is entitled to a service credit calculated as a fixed percentage of monthly fees, applied automatically and reflected on the next invoice."

Cutover Playbook

How to de-risk the incumbent replacement.

The standard RK cutover sequence. Designed so the customer's production line never feels the handoff.

Phase 01 · Discovery

Map the floor before the contract

Two-week structured discovery on the customer's existing operation: BOM depth, supplier base, exception rate, integrations. No templates. The output is a written operating brief signed off by both teams.

Phase 02 · Parallel run

RK runs alongside, not instead

RK stands up the new operation in parallel with the customer's incumbent. Both ship into production for 4–8 weeks. Three exit criteria written up front: OTIF target, accuracy target, exception-resolution target. Cutover is a decision, not a date.

Phase 03 · Cutover

Single owner, single dashboard

Once the exit criteria are hit and signed off, RK becomes the single accountable operator. The customer dashboard is live. Exit clauses for the incumbent are pre-coordinated to avoid double-paying. Incumbent runs hot-backup for 30 days.

RK vs. National 3PL Incumbents

Where RK wins the comparison.

National 3PL incumbents (the multi-billion-dollar players) win on scale and price-per-pallet. RK wins on the dimensions that matter for mission-critical programs.
