The Standard Behind the Standard

Operating conscience, same discipline.

Mission-critical 3PL+ has a footprint. Power, fuel, packaging, water, people. RK measures what we run, publishes our directional carbon disclosures, runs our facilities to a documented energy and waste discipline, and holds the same six-sigma+ standard for ethics and governance that we apply to operations.

Carbon Disclosure

Scope 1, 2, and 3. Directional, methodology-published.

Rounded TTM directional figures. Customer-specific footprints available under contract. Methodology aligns to GHG Protocol Corporate Standard.

Scope 1
~3,200 tCO\u2082e TTM

Direct emissions from RK-operated equipment: forklift fuel, on-site generators, owned drayage fleet (OnTime tri-state). Tracking: monthly fuel reconciliation by facility.

Scope 2
~6,800 tCO\u2082e TTM

Purchased electricity across 16 facilities, location-based. CA facilities benefit from a relatively decarbonized grid; AZ & MI facilities are RK's largest scope-2 reduction targets.

Scope 3
Material \u00b7 carrier-driven

Indirect emissions \u2014 brokered freight, ocean & air freight forwarded under Warehouse to World, supplier-managed packaging. RK reports customer-program scope-3 directionally on quarterly business reviews.

Directional figures \u00b7 trailing twelve months \u00b7 methodology aligned to GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. Customer-specific footprints (allocated by handled volume or shipment count) available under master service agreement.

Facility Practices

Energy-aware operations, by design.

Lighting

100% LED across the network

Every RK facility runs LED lighting with motion-controlled high-bay sensors. Replaces historical metal-halide load with a roughly 60% reduction per square foot.

HVAC

Zoned, occupancy-aware, climate-controlled

Climate-sensitive areas (battery, electronics, kitting) zoned with their own setpoints. Other areas run occupancy-aware HVAC with shift-aligned setbacks.

Fleet

Electric forklift transition in progress

Material-handling fleet transitioning to lithium-ion electric forklifts on a multi-year schedule. EV charging infrastructure installed as facility-by-facility upgrades.

Solar potential

Roof study active on 4 sites

Engineering studies in progress on four large-roof facilities (CA + AZ). Target: behind-the-meter PPA structure, no upfront capex.

Packaging

Right-sized cartons, recycled content default

Cartonization optimized at the WMS level. Recycled-content default on RK-owned packaging. Customer-branded packaging spec'd to client sustainability standards.

Routing

Carbon-aware optimization in the engine

The Innovation Center's exception engine factors mode and consolidation in routing decisions \u2014 not just cost. Customer-program reports show carbon-vs-cost tradeoffs explicitly.

Battery Program Responsibility

EV battery storage is a sustainability practice.

RK has handled EV-grade batteries since 2014. Storing them right \u2014 segregated, monitored, hazmat-trained, NFPA 855-compliant \u2014 is itself one of the most consequential sustainability practices in the supply chain.

Cells handled at our Kato Road and Patterson Pass facilities are managed against documented thermal-event protocols, segregated by chemistry and state-of-charge, and turned over to qualified end-of-life partners under chain-of-custody. Twelve calendar years. Zero recordable safety incidents. Battery responsibility you can audit.

Governance & Ethics

Same six-sigma+ standard, applied to ethics.

Code of Conduct

Annual training mandatory across all employees. Document available to procurement under NDA.

Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

FCPA / UK Bribery Act-aligned. Annual certification at all leadership levels. Zero incidents YTD.

Supplier Code of Conduct

RK extends its standards to subcontractors and carrier network. Onboarding includes signed acknowledgement.

Whistleblower Hotline

Confidential third-party-managed reporting channel for any employee, contractor, or supplier. 24/7.

Human Rights Policy

Aligned to UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Reviewed annually by the executive team.

Data Privacy & Security

Customer data is segregated at the tenant boundary in the Innovation Center systems. SOC 2 Type II initiated. CMMC alignment in progress.

People

700+ operators. Career ladders, not gigs.

RK's people moat is the multi-decade career ladder we run. Most supervisors started on the floor. Most program leaders ran a facility before they ran a program.

700+

Supply chain professionals across 16 facilities
